Following on from a very memorable 30th annual exhibition last November I am now preparing for my exhibition this year, the 31st on the 29th and 30th of November.

I set myself some criteria that I considered important to judge the success of my 30th show. Foremost was whether my mentor and friend Peter Rushworth could get down from the Blue Mountains to open the show and whether I could put together what I considered to be my finest work. I can report that, yes, Peter officiated and after almost a year's preparation I was extremely pleased with the collection of work.

As I work towards this the 31st exhibition at home here in Yackandandah I am pleased to tell you that we are now almost carbon neutral with the installation of solar power and the kiln now fired with wood sourced from the trees I began planting more than 30 years ago. We continue to plant and re-plant after loosing nearly 1500 trees in the tornado (or what we Australians call a bit of a storm) in December 2005.
