This exhibition was John's 30th consecutive annual exhibition at his gallery in Yackandandah. Peter Rushforth AO, officially opened the exhibition of just 40 pieces - one for each year since John produced his first work. A special feature of this exhibition was a series of anniversary bowls that John produced from porcelain clay which he had stored in an underground pit for 34 yrs. As a resourceful young potter John obtained this clay in exchange for a few bottles of beer!!
